1. About RandomBulb

RandomBulb is a creative website featuring fiction, articles, commentary, worldbuilding, and other creative and informational material.

Content may include original fiction published under the pen name Adrian Veyr, original settings and characters, fan fiction, AI-assisted creative works, images, translated versions of content, and text-to-speech narration.

Some portions of RandomBulb may contain mature subject matter and may be restricted to adults age 18 or older.

2. Age Requirements and Mature Content

No statement in these Terms should be interpreted as claiming exclusive copyright over material that is not eligible for copyright protection.

5. Fan Fiction and Third-Party Intellectual Property

Some stories or other creative works published on RandomBulb may be fan fiction based partly on fictional universes, characters, locations, terminology, trademarks, or other intellectual property owned by third parties.

Such works are intended as unofficial creative works.

RandomBulb does not claim ownership of third-party characters, trademarks, fictional universes, settings, names, designs, or other intellectual property belonging to their respective copyright or trademark owners.

Copyright claims relating to fan fiction are limited to qualifying original contributions created by the author and do not extend to underlying third-party intellectual property.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, RandomBulb and Adrian Veyr are not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by the owners of the third-party properties referenced in fan fiction.

For example, works identified as part of the Daiyu Chronicles are fan fiction and may reference intellectual property belonging to the respective owners of the underlying franchise. Those third-party properties remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Personal Use

RandomBulb grants visitors a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to access the website and its content for lawful personal use.

This permission does not transfer ownership of the content or intellectual-property rights to visitors.

You may share links to publicly available RandomBulb pages and stories.

Availability and operation of Story Library features are not guaranteed. Features may be added, changed, temporarily unavailable, or discontinued.

The presentation of a story through automatic pagination or other reading features does not alter the underlying copyright or ownership of the work.

9. Text-to-Speech Narration

RandomBulb may provide text-to-speech (“TTS”) narration for certain stories or other written content.

Narration may rely on speech capabilities provided by your browser, operating system, device, or third-party technology.

RandomBulb does not guarantee that:

Narration will be available on every browser or device.
Every voice will be available on every device.
Pronunciation will always be accurate.
Narration will perfectly reproduce the intended pacing, emotion, names, fictional terminology, or formatting of the written work.

The written version of a work should be considered the primary version when differences exist between the written text and automatically generated narration.

10. Translations

RandomBulb may provide automated translations of website content into languages other than the language in which the material was originally written.

Translations may be generated using third-party translation technology, including Microsoft Azure services or other translation systems.

Machine translation can contain mistakes, omissions, unusual phrasing, or incorrect interpretations.

Translations are provided for convenience and accessibility. They should not be considered professionally certified translations.

Where a translated version conflicts with or materially differs from the original version of RandomBulb content, the original version controls.

11. Images and Artwork
